Marjorie A. Mincks, age 75, of Decorah, IA, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Wellington Place in Decorah.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Decorah with Rev. Phillip Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Decorah.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1 at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and on Thursday one hour before the service at the church.
Marjorie is survived by her only child, Marlan (Terri Blaess) Mincks of Waukon, IA; two grandchildren: Bryan James Mincks and Trevor John Mincks of Decorah; six siblings: Pat Graham of Decorah, Gladys Mincks of Decorah, Robert (Ila) Cronin of Waterloo, IA, Joe (Angene) Cronin of Waterloo, IA, Janice Cronin of Marshalltown, IA and Frank (Sally) Cronin of Omaha, NE; and many nephews and nieces, especially the children of her sister, Gladys Mincks, whom she treated as her own and who supported and cared for her through the years: Ellen (James) Diederich, Mary (Steven) Holkesvik, Allyn (Gloria) Mincks, Sandy (Steven) Reicks, Wendy (Larry) Henry, Terry Tran, Sherrie Henry, Brenda (Randy) Henry, Joseph Mincks, and Robert Mincks.
